Mink Shoals

Mink Shoals fuses a love of vintage psych-pop (The Carpenters, The Association, Dusty Springfield, The Shangri-Las and The Supremes) with influences from shoegaze, psych-rock and trip-hop (My Bloody Valentine, Jesus & Mary Chain, Spiritualized and Portishead) to create psych and shoegaze soul.

These recordings were made just prior to the COVID lockdowns. While we went on hiatus from playing live, it allowed us to focus on working with these tracks, adding overdubs and mixing them to where they are today. 

The band has begun writing material for its next phase, continuing to expand in creating downtempo cinematic psych.
